We recommend that you start looking at flights 3-4 months in advance. The destination airport is Puerto Vallarta International Airport. Many sites (such as Google Travel and Skyscanner) offer price tracking and will send you notifications for price drops and recommendations for the best time to buy.

Yes kids are more than welcome! There is a kids club at the resort that has staff supervised activities throughout the day (child must be potty trained to attend kids club).

Beach cocktail ♡ Khakis, chinos, or slacks and short-sleeved button-ups are appropriate. Cocktail dresses, summer dresses, and jumpsuits are also welcome. Flip flops and sandals are fine.

Check in is at 3pm and check out is at 12pm.

Tipping is not expected but $1-2 ($20-40 pesos) to bartenders, waiters, and staff that go above and beyond is appreciated. → There are two ATMs located at Hyatt Ziva.

Nope! The resort has the same outlets that we use in the U.S.

It's up to you! The wedding day is Friday, 3/6/26. Sean & Ali will be there from 2/28/26-3/8/26. We would love for everyone to come for as many days as they are able. We will have a welcome party most likely on that Wednesday and would like to schedule a group excursion one day. More details to come.

You MUST have a passport to travel to Mexico. → If you do not have a passport, apply for one ASAP as they can take months to process. → Even if you have a passport, check the expiration date now. The expiration must be AFTER October 2026. Mexico can deny entry if your passport expires within 6 months of travel.

Yes! All water and ice served at the resort and major restaurants / tourist spots will be filtered and is safe to drink. Avoid drinking tap water out of sinks.

Puerto Vallarta is ranked the second safest city in Mexico and is a top tourist destination. When going downtown, exercise the same caution you would in any major city and do not use any ATMs that are not attached to banks. The resort is gated with security and everyone must have their name on the guest list to enter.
